Not all files work after being compressed! Some may no longer work after S3RC, but can be “decompressed” with the S3RC decompressor. For example in skininator there is an option to save compressed, where instead of saving an image multiple times (if you use the same image for YA/A/E it will save it once and create links to that image for the other ages. This means bloated parts are removed, and cross-links are created. Should you still wish to use S3PE, PLEASE make a backup of all the single packages within a merged packages, you will otherwise never get them back!Ĭompressing is when a file is reduced to its minimal size. CC Magic knows the game can only properly read files up to 1GB in size, so it will not merge more that that into one file, instead then making two files.You can easily delete a single file out of a merged group.You can easily enable/disable whole groups of objects.You cannot delete packages out of it, you don’t have an automatic backup, and it will not control your file size, while CC Magic: S3PE is like using a typewriter when you could have a PC. CC Magic does NOT break your game as some weird rumors seem to say. If you check the gamedata folder, you will see the base game data is also merged! This speeds up the game as the game only has to open a couple of files and finds everything it needs in them. Duplicates will be deleted so it may be a tiny bit smaller in size. Merging just places multiple files into one file. Merging your files WILL make your game run faster, but it WILL NOT make your game files be much smaller.
